ABOUT MAYO BOWL/SWEET FEET FOR STRIKES
Blue Sky Sports & Entertainment conceived and created Games For Good in 2020. The event will consist of sponsorship teams virtually competing in a "Family Feud" style game with a current or former Patriots player/Boston athlete captaining each team. All proceeds will benefit the Boston Medical Center (BMC).
Games For Good is stepping in for the long standing high profile bowling event, Mayo Bowl/Sweet Feet for Strikes, launched in 2010 by Blue Sky for former Patriots defensive captain, Super Bowl Champion and current Patriots linebackers coach Jerod Mayo.
Since 2014 BMC has been the sole beneficiary of the Mayo Bowl and an integral partner in the growth of Boston's premier celebrity event. The Mayo Bowl has enabled Boston's inner city children to receive exceptional care without exception from BMC. Each year the event sold out all twenty (20) bowling lanes, attracted well over 400 event attendees and reached over 4.2 million individuals through social media.
To date, Mayo Bowl/Sweet Feet for Strikes is considered to be the largest professional athlete attended event in the New England area. The event averaged over thirty five (35) current and retired New England Patriots players in attendance each year.
